Security Checks

It happens to me that after I get a refill of invites I can send as many invites as I want in a day and do not have any issues.  After I get about half way through my allotment of invites I start getting security checks.  Security checks are a device I believe LI uses to slow down the invite process.  What happens is when the security checks kicks in every time you try to send an invite you have to type in a couple words.  You know those words that are hard to read.

Each day if I try to send more than 80 invites when I hit 80 or 85 the security checks kick in and mostly this is not an issue because sending 80 invites takes more time than I will most nights.  Once I hit that 80 mark I am done because typing the security checks really slows me down.

What I do to make sure I can maximize my invites in a day is I keep a spreadsheet open.  Any potential invites that have their email address visible I copy and paste it to the spreadsheet.  If I hit the security checks I can also just paste those 10-20 extra email addresses I collected.

About taxdude8422

Basically I am just a tax nerd, have been all my life. However I have found the more open you are to opportunities the better off you will be in this world. That makes my what is know as an open networker on Linkedin, I will connect with anyone. I am not an expert on Linkedin by any means but one day when I was asking someone to connect I mentioned that I had just been refilled on invites. My new connect asked how I did that. I used that same line for the next month and got asked the same question four times. I started thinking there was a lot of little things it took my sometime to learn. Through this blog I plan to share some of those "Linked Secrets"
